In our research group, we focus on the genetic diagnosis of paediatric patients with rare diseases. Our objective is to investigate the molecular foundations of these rare diseases to aid diagnosis and enhance understanding of their molecular mechanisms. Our findings contribute to determining whether the mutations identified in patients’ DNA are the cause of the disease. Additionally, we aim to support genetic counseling and the development of personalized therapies. Our team comprises physicians, biologists, biotechnologists, and pharmacists.
