In today’s research landscape, openness is a core value. But so is responsibility. As scientific discoveries increasingly carry translational and societal impact, researchers must navigate complex decisions about intellectual property, access, protection, and equity.

Organized by the PABMB Regional Team of the IUBMB Trainee Initiative, this global webinar offers trainees a reflective space to think critically about their science before publishing through diverse international perspectives.

Rather than offering prescriptive answers, this event encourages early awareness, thoughtful analysis, and attentiveness to key decision-making moments, empowering early-career scientists to expand both the impact of their research and its public benefit.
