I am interested in the basic aspects of molecular nutrition, looking for bioactive compounds from pomegranate fruit and their potential use in chronic diseases.
I am also interested in molecular microbiology, specifically in the mechanisms of resistance of Staphylococcus aureus vs. antibiotics mediated by biofilm formation.
