Researcher Name: KONGALA, PRASADA RAO (He / Him)
Research Area(s): Plant Biology
Affiliation: Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture,Technology and Sciences
Country: India
Scientific Interests:
Dr Kongala aims to engage in plant-specialised metabolites for industry and sustainable agriculture through cutting edge research using cell and molecular techniques for accelerated crop productivity in sub-optimal agro-ecologies. My research interests also focuses biomaterials, bioenergy for emerging frontiers , also with mechanisms that enable crop plants to thrive in sub-optimal soil conditions viz., salinity, low water or low nutrients. A particular strength of his research is the integration of cell biology with whole plant physiology. The ultimate applied aim of his research is to develop novel metabolites, biomaterials, processes, technologies for industry and agriculture.
This offer applies to trainees/researchers eligible for the following fellowships
All fellowships (not restricted to fellowship holders), IUBMB Relocation Support for Displaced Trainees
