Research in my lab encompasses the discovery, development and evaluation of biologics, particularly monoclonal antibodies, for snakebite envenoming and other global health challenges. We use antibody display technologies and de novo protein design to identify novel biologics that are then tested for specificity and neutralising efficacy using functional assays. Our aim is to develop new therapeutic and diagnostic tools to alleviate the burden of Neglected Tropical Diseases and emerging viruses.
