We study the effect of xenobiotics exposure on the immune system. Particularly related with arsenic, organophosphorous pesticides, organic volatiles solvents particulated matter in air, etc. We also study the role of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor in the regulation of the immune response to several challenges such as bacterial, parasites, tumor cells and xenobiotics. We are interested in the antitumor and immunomodulatory potential of natural compounds and their mechanism of action.
