Researcher Name: Feijs, Karla (She / Her)

Research Area(s): RNA

Affiliation: Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, RWTH Aachen University

Country: Germany

Website

Scientific Interests:

We are interested in modification of both proteins and RNA with ADP-ribose. This modification is added onto substrates by PARP enzymes, who use NAD+ for this reaction. We are pursuing fundamental questions, such as when/how PARPs are activated or how modification with ADP-ribose influences modified proteins and RNA. We are also investigating how this modification contributes to the antiviral response and carcinogenesis.

This offer applies to trainees/researchers eligible for the following fellowships
