My research is focused on cholinergic mechanisms and modulation of neurotransmission in poisonings and on cholinesterases – enzymes with key roles in organophosphorus poisoning and in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Methodology involves: UV/VIS spectrometry, WB, cell culture, computational chemistry (docking), etc. A specific interest for fellow is directed towards study of environmental pesticides, their molecular mechanisms of poisonings, inhibition potency, etc.
