IUBMB Focused Meeting – Neurodegenerative Diseases

Neurodegenerative diseases are the most devastating diseases in the 21st century with huge unmet medical needs. Intensive researches on the fundamental mechanism and disease treatments are urgently needed. In this meeting, we would like provide a platform for discussion on recent advances in neurodegenerative diseases and potentials for therapeutic development, with the intention to build ties and foster collaborations. With the support of the IUBMB (International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology), the theme of the meeting covers Alzheimer’s disease, mocavement disorder, protein aggregation and transmission, and stem cell research. We believe this meeting is a great opportunity for global and local scientists to work together and fight the diseases. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, unfortunately we had to postpone the meeting earlier of 2020. We decide to rearrange the meeting on April 21-23, 2021. Looking forward to welcomeing you in Taipei!
