FEBS 2024 Advanced Course | Protein Termini 2024: From Insight to Impact

Dear colleagues and friends,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Oxford, U.K., from 8-11 September 2024 for the ‘Protein Termini: From Insight to Impact’ Workshop. The past decade has seen a broad increase in the understanding that protein function is regulated by co- and post-translational modification of their N- and C-termini. This is mirrored by the expansion of researchers actively publishing in this field, supported by improvements in proteomic technologies which facilitate detailed analysis of protein terminal modifications. At this Workshop, we wish to bring together established expertise in the field with new contributors, to highlight opportunities to capitalise on knowledge of protein termini for translation into novel methodologies, therapeutics and agri-tech solutions. We hope to create an environment in Oxford which allows all participants to maximally benefit from the opportunities the Workshop will bring, and particularly encourage young scientists and those who are new to the field to join us!
