FEBS 2022 Advanced Course: Molecular Mechanisms of Host-pathogen Interactions and Virulence in Human Fungal Pathogens
May 14, 2022 to May 20, 2022
Dear colleagues and friends,
after nearly two years of difficult times, we are starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel and we are happy to announce that the classic FEBS Advanced Lecture Course HFP2022: “Molecular Mechanisms of Host-Pathogen Interactions and Virulence in Human Fungal Pathogens” is now scheduled for an in person meeting next May in La Colle sur Loup (France). As you know, the aim of this course is to disseminate the current state-of-the-art knowledge of the biochemical, molecular and genetic mechanisms of fungal pathogenesis to junior scientists and to provide them with valuable networking opportunities with world leaders in this exciting area of research. In doing so, the course will contribute to the training of PhD students and post-doctoral fellows involved in the study of fungal pathogens and management of fungal infections. For this ninth edition of the FEBS HFP course, and with the help of Scientific Advisory Board, we have gathered a fantastic list of international speakers and chairs representing all domains of molecular medical mycology research. We believe that their presentations will be sources of inspiration for all of us and we look forward to seeing you in person next May in the south of France.
