The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) is  dedicated to advancing biochemistry and molecular biology across 77 countries and regions. Through our congresses and meetings, we foster global scientific exchange and collaboration. To ensure that every meeting is productive, respectful, and enjoyable, all organizers and participants are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:

Guidelines

  • Dignity and Inclusivity
Treat all participants with dignity, regardless of their role, background, or opinion.
  • Professional Communication
Use courteous and professional language at all times. Avoid personal attacks, derogatory remarks, or inappropriate humor to maintain a respectful dialogue.
  • Punctuality and Adherence to Schedule
Be punctual and strive to end the sessions as scheduled. Follow the agenda closely to ensure that discussions remain relevant and on-topic.
  • Concise and Relevant Contributions
Provide clear, concise, and pertinent input. Keep your contributions brief to allow space for diverse perspectives and to keep the meeting focused.
  • Confidentiality
