Guidelines for the IUBMB MilliporeSigma Virtual Meeting Fellowships
This fellowship honors the legacy of the metabolic maps created by Donald Nicholson, who in 1996 gave the copyright of the maps to the IUBMB. We are pleased to collaborate with MilliporeSigma, with whom we have an agreement to secure the future of the maps, to provide virtual meeting registration to trainees in biochemistry and molecular biology.
The IUBMB MilliporeSigma Virtual Meeting Fellowships are designed to support biochemistry and molecular biology trainees (graduate students and postdoctoral fellows), from countries that are full or associate members of IUBMB to attend virtual meetings in the IUBMB region. Applicants are required to present a poster or oral presentation in order to be considered for a fellowship award.
- A link to the meeting and why attending it will be beneficial to the trainee
- An abstract of the presentation
- Verification of the applicant’s status from the applicant’s mentor
- The fellowship will cover: Registration for the virtual meeting.
Applications will be considered as they are received and applicants informed within a month of receipt of application.
Applicants who have been previously awarded an IUBMB Fellowship are not eligible, and retrospective applications will not be considered.
Applications will be sent and reviewed by Dr. Ilona Concha Grabinger by filling out the application form.
